Acceptance of Terms: By purchasing from Mod My Model M, you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree, please do not place an order.

Product Description: This site sells hobbyist electronics for keyboard modification. Our products are designed for IBM Model M keyboards and require installation with basic tools and technical knowledge.

Installation & Modification: Installation of our products requires disassembly of your keyboard, basic soldering skills (if applicable), and careful handling of electronic components. You are responsible for proper installation. Optional Super key modifications require user-performed case trimming; you assume all risk associated with case modification.

Warranty & Returns: Products are provided "as-is" with no express or implied warranties beyond those required by law. We warrant that products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. See our preorder policy for information about refunds and returns.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mod My Model M shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from: (a) your use or inability to use our products; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers; (c) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our service; (d) any bugs, viruses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our service by any third party; or (e) any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the service. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the product.

Compatibility: You are responsible for confirming compatibility with your specific keyboard model before ordering. We provide compatibility information as a guide, but variations in keyboard manufacturing may affect compatibility. Contact us before ordering if you are unsure.

Governing Law: These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our products shall be resolved in the courts of California.

International Sales: We ship internationally. International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed by their country.

Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page.
